Success of the Business Digitalization Program, which exhausts its budget in just two months
Due to the strong demand, the Government is considering allocating an extraordinary budget specifically aimed at strengthening cybersecurity support for the business sector.
The Business Digitalization Program (PDE) has once again proven successful in 2025. In less than two months, the full budget of €500,000 allocated to the programme has been exhausted. This confirms that the PDE’s approach—offering support to companies in their digital transformation—resonates strongly with the country's business fabric, and that the proposed digital solutions are well aligned with their real needs. This was underscored by the Secretary of State for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, Marc Rossell, who positively highlighted “the high level of engagement, which enables the entire country to increase its digital maturity—something that ultimately benefits all citizens.”
In this edition, the PDE received 190 applications: 175 for digital solutions, 14 for consultancy services, and 1 for personalised support. Notably, 188 companies participated for the first time, confirming the programme’s ability to reach new beneficiaries—mainly micro and small enterprises, which remain the most active in requesting assistance.
Among the most requested services were the creation of corporate websites, SEO optimisation, and digital training. The new 2025 PDE lines focusing on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data analysis and exploitation also received significant interest. Given this high demand for cybersecurity services, the PDE will continue to offer support in this area and is currently assessing the possibility of establishing a dedicated budget to address this growing need. “We believe maintaining this support is key to continuing progress in this area,” Rossell emphasised.
The aim of the Business Digitalization Programme is to help Andorran companies adopt digital technologies, foster innovation, and enhance operational efficiency. Through financial aid and tailored guidance, the PDE aligns with the goals of the 2020–2030 Digital Strategy, which is committed to continuously improving the digital maturity of the country’s business sector.
