Presentation of the Business Digitalization Program to the country’s human resources professionals
Marc Rossell, the Secretary of State for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, met yesterday with members of the Andorran Association of Human Resources Managers (AAGP), which integrates HR professionals from the Principality of Andorra. He gave a presentation on the Business Digitalization Program (PDE) and went over the key components of the national digitalization strategy 2030, which sets specific objectives to be achieved by the end of the decade.
According to Rossell, among these objectives is to ensure that 90% of digital procedures are used through the Electronic Portal, enabling much more agile and interconnected processes; to ensure that 100% of businesses and citizens have a digital certificate; and to achieve a higher level of digital maturity in the business sector and in company digitalization. In this regard, the goal, as Rossell stated to the delegates, is to achieve an average score of 8/10 in the digital maturity of the business fabric.
During the presentation, the Secretary of State was accompanied by several members of the Digital Transformation Department, such as Marta Osuna, who spoke about the use and possibilities of the Electronic Certificate, a key tool in recent years, and David Vicente, Director of Andorra's Digital Transformation Program, who also outlined the foundations of the Andorra Digitalization Program (PdTDA) 2024-2027 and explained how the PDE, the Business Digitalization Program, works.
Vicente explained how Andorra Digital, through the PDE, provides logistical and financial support to the country's businesses, including personalized assistance, an extensive subsidy program, and a financing plan that is fully tailored to each company that joins the initiative.
The Director of Andorra’s Digital Transformation Program also emphasized that after establishing the country's digitalization framework in 2020, they have now entered a phase of adoption and change management, known as PdTDA 2.0. He highlighted to attendees the need to develop capacities and drive behavioral changes in both the business fabric and society while implementing digital services to achieve results that improve the daily lives of citizens.
